‘Valleys Velo Sportive is back for the 4th edition  after rave reviews in 2013, 2014 and 2015'

This  end of season sportive organised in partnership with the BIKE DOCTOR Cycling club and The Bicycle Doctor Cycle Shop based in Porth brings together, spectacular rolling mountain scenery, with  classic climbs, brilliant  views and fast testing descents as it threads its way through the ex mining landscape of the South Wales Valleys.

 

There are two routes - Standard 65k and a Epic 95k route. While the Epic route only be 95km long but there are a total of six major hills with almost 6000ft of climbing which yes includes the epic climbs of the Bwlch, Rhigos and Maerdy but also many more hidden gems a waiting to challenge you. Early Bird Entry Fee for 2015 is £28p and will include a special Valleys Velo Tee for all entrants, We recommend you enter this event as early as possible after the success of last years event. Only my second sportive and although I ride these hills on a regular basis ( never altogether mind) I had a fantastic morning and so did my wife following the ride by car, I will definatly be back next year, already entered.
